This week is staff appreciation week. Please take time to send or express your gratitude to all of the staff that have helped make this a fantastic school year at Paw Paw Later Elementary. Thank you to our office staff, our paraprofessionals, our food service department, our custodians, our maintenance crew, ancillary staff from the VBISD, our Technology department, central office, other support staff, and our teachers. Our Parent Chat program returns on Thursday, April 22 @ 7 PM, with an important topic entitled Sex Education, Sexual Safety, and the Law. We will share information about our sex education and reproductive health program in Paw Paw.
We will also be joined by Van Buren County Prosecutor Susan Zuiderveen and two assistant prosecutors from her office to share with families information that can help parents inform and protect their children. As always, after presentations there will be an opportunity for questions and dialogue.

We are trying a new service for our families to kick off the 2021-22 school year. It will allow families to make a one time purchase of all of the items on our suggested supply list for your child's grade level in the fall.
This allows you to avoid going out and shopping several stores for the individual items. It might cost a few dollars more, but the supplies will arrive in a labeled box on your child's desk for the first day of school. As parents, some of us consider convenience worth the few extra dollars. More info coming soon!
