Grad Bash 2025 is sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast and Car Show this Saturday, September 28. Pancake Breakfast is from 8:00 am to 10:00 am in the HS Cafeteria. Coast is $5. All proceeds go to Grad Bash. Red Wolves Car Show is Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the HS Parking Lot. Come check out the vehicles and vote for your favorite. Registration to enter a car in the show is $20 and opens at 8:00 am that day.

Just announced - Paw Paw Public Schools 2024-2025 Senior Citizens Lunch Schedule! All Paw Paw area senior citizens aged 60 and older are invited to attend. We are once again pleased to invite parents and grandparents to participate in the HS HOWLers program. This is a low-risk way to volunteer in school. Come spend a day, or part of a day, with us: walk the hallways, visit the lunchroom, pop into classes. Be an extra set of eyes and ears for staff as needed. Attached is a flyer with more information. Applications are being accepted for consideration for new members of the Paw Paw HS Hall of Fame. Consideration can be given for several different reasons, including Service to PPHS, Contributions to the Greater Community, or Performance in School Related Activities. Applications stay on file for 10 years. New applications for consideration this year need to be received by December 1. As we wrap up week one, we wanted to thank you for your support of our Disconnect to Reconnect initiative. This was a great start to the school year and students are responding really well to the new phone rules. We appreciate the support we have gotten from the small number of parents we have had to contact about phone usage in class, and are pleased that the number was as low as it was. Feedback from students has been generally positive. They notice more social communication already happening and say they are focusing better. We are super excited to continue building those healthy habits. As we enter Week 2, please reinforce with your child the expectation that phones are to be left in their lockers, not just stowed away in pockets. As always, we appreciate your partnership!

We have created a form called Student Information under Student Forms in PowerSchool. A parent can log into the parent portal, go to the forms page, click on the Student Information form and their student's name, grade level, student number, and homeroom will be displayed. This is a great opportunity for your 3-year-old to make friends, have fun and learn new skills that will help them succeed in school! Chromebooks are ready for pick up! Parents need to complete the form in Powerschool. We recommend paying the optional $10 usage fee to cover any accidental damage that may occur. Then your device can be picked up at the listed times: *For new students only, including freshmen- during New Student Welcome, and even a bit before, beginning at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 15. *Returning students can get their Chromebooks beginning at 9:00 am on Friday, August 16. *All students who still need their device can get it during Open House on Monday, August 19 from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Paw Paw Public Schools will host an online Parent Update in Student Programming program on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6-7 PM via Zoom. The Zoom link for the program can be found in the NEWS section of the district website, at ppps.org. Please join us for a chance to learn more about the Disconnect to Reconnect initiative, the PPPS goal to address the concerns parents and educators share about the impact of technology and social media in the lives of our students. You'll also learn about a few other important areas of focus for the District as we prepare for the 2024-25 school year which promises to be our BEST YEAR EVER! New Student Welcome Freshmen and other new students are invited to New Student Welcome on Thursday, August 15 at 10:00 am. The event will include tours, an opportunity to pick up your chromebook, student ID photos, and a chance to met some staff. The event will conclude at noon. We hope to see all our new PPHS students there!

Meal Pick-Up Reminder! Tomorrow is meal pick-up day for Free Summer Meals from 1 to 3 p.m. at Paw Paw Later Elementary. Free meals are open to ALL PPPS STUDENTS and not just those who qualify for free or reduced lunches.
