National school bus safety week. Walking to the Bus Stop • Walk young children to the bus stop or encourage children to walk in groups. There is safety in numbers; groups are easier for drivers to see. • Practice good pedestrian behavior: walk on the sidewalk, and if there is no sidewalk stay out of the street. If you must walk in the street, walk single file, face traffic and stay as close to the edge of the road as you can. • Stop and look left, right and then left again if you must cross the street. Do the same thing at drive -ways and alleys. Exaggerate your head turns and narrate your actions so your child knows you are looking left, right and left. Aspire, Thrive, and our Early childhood students are all included in picture day. If for any reason your student is unavailable, retakes will be on November 28th, 2023. Another great day at Cedar Street. We were able to jump into CharacterStrong lessons with the entire student body this morning...Mrs. Roberts, our counselor, led the group in a great session about connections. We ended the meeting by creating journals to write about our session prompts and character dares that we will be implementing over the school year. This weeks prompt- What does community mean to you?

The PPPS Volleyball future is bright! PPHS Volleyball players showed our Core Value of Kindness by helping Volleyball Coach Duchene run the 2023 Summer Volleyball Camp for 3rd - 8th grade students. Brynn is a talented ventriloquist, artist, and magician, and she will perform as a contestant on the show.
