Aspire students practiced graphing linear systems of equations this week, working together to locate safe zones during the zombie apocalypse! We recreated a coordinate plane as our map on the floor, and used vibrant materials to represent each team's pathways and safe zones. Found a pair of parallel lines? Uh oh, no safe zones! Found a pair of identical lines? Infinite freedom!

With the restarting of the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert expected to take place in late 2025, there are a number of Radiological Emergency Preparedness Drills scheduled throughout Allegan, Berrien and Van Buren Counties. From 5 to 9 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, May 13, 2025) at Paw Paw Middle School , a Radiological Emergency Preparedness Drill is scheduled to take place. This is for emergency personnel only.
