If anyone recognizes the materials in these photos, witnessed anything unusual along 30th Street, or knows/suspects the person(s) responsible for dumping these materials, please contact the superintendent's office at 269-415-5200. Please make sure you have a background check on file or fill one out by the end of day on Wednesday. Please let the office or teacher know if you plan on attending to have the kitchen prepare a lunch for you. Feel free to wear something that identifies your branch of service as well.

The PPPS Transportation Department sponsored the 2nd annual School Bus Safety Week poster contest for Young 5 to fifth-grade students! Students were invited to design posters around the theme "Safely Booking It To My Destination" with a focus on positive behavior and reading while riding the bus. Seven winners were chosen and each one received a certificate signed by Transportation Director Angela Vasquez, a group photo with several of the bus drivers, A Wendy's Boo Book for 5 free frosties, a bag of candy, and a golden token used to get a book from the school's book vending machine. The student's posters will also be on display at the Elementary schools. This year's winners are : Josie Muir, Bella Rosenbaum, Blake Garland, Carson Byford, Bryn Beach, Zakk Smith, and Piper Silva.










On this past Saturday, the Paw Paw Elementary Run Club members put their
training to the test as they raced along a 1-mile or 2-mile loop on the
challenging high school cross-country course. The program instilled essential life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and a joy of camaraderie. The club has not only fostered a sense of community within the school but also encouraged students to adopt running as a lifelong pursuit, setting the foundation for a healthier
and more active future. The Paw Paw Elementary Run Club is not just
about crossing the finish line; it’s about building character and embracing
the exhilarating world of running.



Please remember that next Tuesday, October 31st is a half day for students. Students will be dismissed at 12:15pm. The businesses in downtown Paw Paw will have safe trick or treating from 3:00-5:00pm with a pet parade at 2:00pm. On Day 3 of National Bus Safety Week, today's tip is about keeping kids safe at the bus stop. The PPPS Transportation Department takes driver training and student safety seriously.
