The next phase of our Continuity of Learning Plan begins tomorrow. Teachers have been hard at work putting together plans for each class and will begin rolling those out to students beginning tomorrow. Students should be checking their email and Google Classroom every day. While a typical school day is 6 hours long, the expectation for at home work is considerably less than that. There may be online class sessions for each class and additional independent work. A reminder that rather than traditional grading, this semester students will be earning credit for classes based on showing proficiency on the essential standards for each class. Many of these standards were already assessed earlier in the semester, and the work that was done prior to closing will be considered when looking at those standards. Additionally, students may earn an A for a class if their work on the standards is exemplary. Teachers will be able to provide additional information about that criteria after this week.
