Good Afternoon! Just a reminder that Picture Day is coming soon! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 22nd and Thursday, September 24th.

Good morning, parents!
We need your help with drop off in the morning.
Our drop off procedures are different than at the elementary school. We would like kids to get out of the car anywhere along the sidewalk area.
It is OK for your child to get out of the car when you are 2-3 cars back from the front door.
Also, it is ok to pull up past the front door to let your child out of the car, so that several cars can drop off at the same time.
Realistically, the walk from 3 car-lengths on either side of the main entrance is still less than the walk from the parking lot.
Please help everyone get into the building on time by pulling forward, and getting your kids out of the car sooner.
Thanks for your help!

Reminder the Optional Fall Testing is Wednesday October 14th. The Sign Up has been sent to Student Emails. If you do not sign up by September 11th, we will assume you do not want to take the test.

Parents-
An email was just sent regarding the first week of school to all students and parents who are scheduled to do IN PERSON classes. Please check your email accounts and read through the information we provided.
We did not send this email to students and parents who are participating in eLearning at this time, as much of the information is not relevant.
If you did not get an email from us and believe you should have, please contact tammy.southworth@ppps.org with a current email address, your students name and grade.

Here is the link to access Welcome videos from our staff as well as Google meet links for tonight's Virtual Open House.

Small groups. Masks required. Students only, please.

Students were sent emails today with their team assignment (Red=M/T, White=Th/F) as well as directions to check Powerschool to see their schedule.
*If your student is doing eLearning, please disregard this. We built schedules over the past few weeks for everyone, but your eLearning schedule will be different. More information will be coming to these families next week.*
We may need to make a few schedule adjustments, especially for students with IEPs, and will communicate those when they happen.
We have worked very hard to gather your input for electives, etc, and then to build a balanced master schedule for everyone.
At this point will not be doing schedules changes to accommodate a change in electives, hours, teachers, or to be with your friends.
Adjustments will only be made to fill incomplete schedules or make corrections to mistakes in core requirement placements.
Thank you for your understanding.

We know that you are eager to see your schedule for the upcoming school year, and we are eager to release those. We will send an email tomorrow when they are ready to go- we’re putting final touches on them right now.
Rumor has it that a few kids were able to see their schedule when they happened to log in at the exact time we were testing the system, but we have taken it back offline while we finish adjusting.
Thank you for your patience.
We will send an alert when it’s ready to go tomorrow.

Parents of students in grades 8-12:
As Mr Reo's letter informed you last week, students in grades 8-12 will be physically present in the building two days per week.
We are splitting the students into two teams:
Red team- present in the building Monday/Tuesday, work from home Wednesday-Friday
OR
White team- present in the building Thursday/Friday, work from home Monday- Wednesday
Some students have already been assigned to a team as determined by which tech center program a student is enrolled in.
As we build schedules and split the kids into these two groups, it is our intention to keep kids from the same household on the same team.
If for some reason your family would like to have your kids put into opposite groups, please email Mrs Southworth at tammy.southworth@ppps.org this week.
