November 15 Deadline to Claim Your Child Tax Credit! Families with no income or low income could get at least $3,000 per child with the Child Tax Credit, plus $1,400 with the third stimulus payment - even if they have never filed taxes before (and if they have not yet already filed taxes this year). Outreach materials are available in 11 languages, including flyers, template emails, texts, and robo calls. Families can be directed tohttps://www.getctc.org/en to sign up. Se habla espanol.

On October 6 Paw Paw Public Schools will host its first Parent Chat program for the 2022-23 school year with a focus on our District-wide improvement goal of raising self-efficacy and teacher collective efficacy. If you are able, we hope you'll join us to learn more about this important goal, how it leads to student success, and how you can help from home. For those who cannot make it, the session will be recorded and available on the PPPS.org website, in the Parenting Resources area (click on the menu at the top of the homepage.) The meeting will be held on the Zoom platform, and parents can join through this link: https://bit.ly/3xVX1iS. A $25 gift card will be raffled as part of the program, and everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing to win one. Please contact Curriculum Director Corey Harbaugh for more information at corey.harbaugh@ppps.org or (269) 415-5211.

Student Council is planning the Homecoming Parade. They are in need of several convertibles for the Homecoming Court to ride in the parade. (An alternate would be a handful of pick up trucks pulling large trailers) If you are over 21, have a licenced and insured convertible that you would be willing to drive in the parade, please contact Student Council advisor Ann Schultz at ann.schultz@ppps.org.
