Mrs. Albertson's kindergarten class reviewed the letter M recognition and sound by making a list of words that begin with M and by sorting M & M's by color. They wrote the number to match the amount. When the students finished their work, they enjoyed the colorful treats!

Mrs. Shugg's 2nd grade class created land formations today. Next week the class will learn about erosion!

All PPPS students can eat breakfast and lunch for FREE through the end of the calendar year!

Please call the attendance line or the office if your student will be absent for any reason. If you sent an email to your child's teacher, you will still need to let the office know of any illness or absence from school. If your child is absent for an appointment, please bring in a letter showing your student was at the appointment. The appointment letter can be faxed or emailed to our office or sent to school with your student. Picture Day for all of our virtual students will be on Mon., Oct. 19th from 3:00pm - 5:30pm in the Cedar Street Gymnasium. There will be no picture packets. Students will get their picture taken, given a code to log in, and will be able to see their photos within 48 hours. If they like their picture, they can order pictures or picture packets with a yearbook online and get their pictures mailed to their house.

Dear Paw Paw Families, Household Information Reports were recently mailed to your homes. Information in these reports is utilized for administrative purposes, not to determine eligibility for free meals. Please fill out and submit the report that was mailed to you, or you can fill it out electronically at www.lunchapp.com. This report is critical as it allows PPPS to benefit from various State and Federal programs. Please submit this report as soon as possible. All information on the report submitted is confidential. Without your assistance, the school cannot take advantage of the utilization of available State and Federal Funds. Sometimes all we need is a little love from our Therapy Dog Cody to make our day bright!

Your child will come home with a black lanyard today! The purpose of this lanyard is for attaching a clean face mask the night before school, so it is ready for the next day. Please remember to label all of your child's belongings, especially their backpacks. It is also helpful to relay any daily pick up changes by 2pm on full days, and 11:45am on half days. This is especially important if you do not receive a response from emails/messages sent to the teacher.

Please read all of our new protocols so we can adapt together the changes that are necessary this year to minimize the spread of COVID. The 2019-20 Yearbooks are in! If you ordered a yearbook they are available for pick up in the office next week Monday July 27 or Wednesday July 29 from 9am-3pm. August dates will be added soon!
