We can't wait to see all of our pack of Paw Paw Red Wolves back on campus Monday! In the meantime, establishing regular routines can be a tricky thing. Here is a bedtime cheat sheet that is being reshared to help get your kids get back on track and ready to learn! 😴 While this may not work for every family, generally speaking, pediatricians recommend children under age 10 get about 10 hours of sleep. #bedtime #learning

The Middle School is still in need of Instructional Aides, if you're interested in being a foundational piece of our team please visit the employment tab on website.

It's hard to believe that in just over two weeks the new school year begins! Middle School Secretary Lori Reo with the help of Principal Jerry McDaniel and new Assistant Principal Troy Schultz work hard to make middle school teachers feel welcome! Preparing a well-stocked "Teacher's Survival Kit" and delivering them to each classroom is just one more way to show they care. #BuildTogetherPawPaw

When it comes to dedicated volunteers at PPPS, we have the best. Here's a
shout-out to Matt Miller who generously donated his time to pressure wash the press box at Falan Field today! For any others who are interested in volunteering, we are looking for some helping hands to assist with weeding the flower beds around Paw Paw Public Schools. To learn more, email the Director of Maintenance: thomas.imus@ppps.org. #BuildTogetherPawPaw

Welcome Back from PPMS
On behalf of the staff at Paw Paw Middle School, we would like to welcome our new 6th-grade students and families to the middle school; as well as, welcome any new and returning students and staff to what is sure to be a great school year!
The Middle School staff have been working hard throughout the summer to make sure our building is ready for our students to learn and grow. Thank you to those who have worked hard to make this a possibility!
As the new year approaches, we encourage parents and families to work together to prepare students for success at home, just as the staff at Paw Paw Middle School are doing so. This might include setting up and practicing good morning and night routines, making plans and places for academic learning at home (homework area, “check-in” times with each other on your day, etc.), practicing healthy eating and sleeping habits, discussing school-time expectations, and more. A little planning and practice can go a long way!
We invite you to attend our Middle School Open House on Tuesday, August 23rd, from 5:30-7:00 PM. Also, be on the lookout for important mailings, Sunday calls, and information in the student and parent announcements that will be shared as the year begins. We are still making final adjustments to student schedules and the goal is to have them mailed home prior to our open house.
The staff at Paw Paw Middle School look forward to working together with students, families, and the community to ensure students find success. Welcome Back! If you have any questions or concerns, please also feel free to contact the Middle School Office at 415-5500, with office hours from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Jerry McDaniel - Principal
Troy Schultz - Assistant Principal
