Our mission at the Later Elementary is that we are All In, For All Students, All The Time.
Students can get dropped off starting at 8:20 am each morning. School begins at 8:30 am. Our normal school day is 8:30-3:45 pm. Our attendance line is 269-415-5498 if your child is absent from school.
Face masks are required for all students riding the bus to and from school. Face masks are also strongly recommended for all staff, students, and families visiting our school.
Election Day is right around the corner, and Paw Paw Public Schools Non-Homestead Operating Millage Renewal is on the ballot. Voters will be asked to consider a ballot proposal that would renew Paw Paw Public Schools Current Operating Millage rate of 18 mills for a period of 10 years. There is no cost on primary residences. This millage applies only to non-homestead properties such as rental homes, commercial property, businesses, and vacation homes.
It will impose no new taxes. Holding this millage rate steady for the next 10 years will ensure that all students have access to opportunities that will prepare them for college, trade schools, the workforce and beyond!

It's time to stock up on spiritwear for the elementary. Please visit https://pawpawelementary.itemo... to order spiritwear for your child. You will find Early and Later Elementary choices with front and back designs. The back design reads "Our Pack's Pride Is Hard To Hide!" Orders can be shipped to your home or you can choose to have items delivered to school. Order soon. Deadline for orders is Sunday, November 7th
Tomorrow is our PTO Mother Son Event at the Later Elementary. The theme is Welcome To The Jungle and there will be a lot of fun activities, music, and great times for all that attend. The early elementary event will take place from 5:00-6:30pm. The Later Elementary will take place from 7:00-8:30pm. Tickets are $5.00 per person and can be purchased at the door if you haven’t bought your tickets yet!
The Paw Paw Lion’s Club is hosting a drive thru Trick or Treating event next Saturday from 2:00-5:00 at the Lion’s Club located just past Tractor Supply Company on CR665.
Next Friday, October 29th at 2:00pm will be our annual Halloween parade in the bus loop on the west side of the elementary campus. In the event of rain, we will still broadcast a live stream of an indoor version for parents to watch from home. Be sure to get here early for parking.
Mark your calendars for picture re-takes on November 4th. This is for any student that was absent and for those that would like a second chance at school pictures. Be sure to return your original picture proof on re-take day if you received one.
Join us on Friday, November 5th for a magical journey into the Later Elementary 100 Acre Cafetorium for a performance of Winnie the Pooh kids. Performances will be at%:30pm and 7:00pm. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door, or you can live stream the event for $10
