Hello Later Elementary Families!
The Later Elementary Staff wants to make sure that all of our families are ready for an amazing first week back to school! Our mission at the Later Elementary is that we are All In, For All Students, All The Time!
Please remember that students can get dropped off starting at 8:20 am. We will have them lined up and allow them into the building promptly at 8:25 each day. School begins at 8:30 am. The 3rd-grade student entrance is at the north end of the building. 4th and 5th-grade students will enter through the main entrance. Entrances will be clearly labeled with signs and staff will be on hand to direct as needed. Please help us have a successful first week back in our parking lots by making sure that you help keep traffic moving in the drop-off lane with a quick send-off with your children or, if you prefer, feel free to park and walk your child to the sidewalk.
Monday is a 1/2 day of school, so students will be released at 12:15 pm.
Tuesday through Thursday will be normal school days. Our normal school day is 8:30-3:45 pm.
Please remember that there is no school on Friday, September 3rd, and Monday, September 6th due to Labor Day Weekend.
Breakfast and lunch are free to all students this year and we encourage you to take advantage of this free program. You can still send in lunch with your child if you choose to do so.
Face masks are required for all students riding the bus to and from school. Face masks are also strongly recommended for all staff, students, and families visiting our school.
