Dear GSRP Families,
As I am sure you are aware that Paw Paw Public schools will be closed until April 13th. Please know that as we navigate this school closing, we are here for you and your child. We want the best for your preschooler and to support you and your family as we all figure out the days to come!
For the next three weeks we have a take home box of materials that will be ready for pick up on Tuesday March 17th. We will also be providing a packet of educational resources for your child to utilize. They can be picked up at Cedar Street on Tuesday from 7AM-7PM. If this doesn’t work for you, please contact the Cedar Street office so we can make other arrangements. We will also be contacting you twice a week by phone or email. Please continue to work with your child at home on school readiness skills, reading to them, and just taking time to check in with what is going on around them!
Our home goals for your GSRP students for the next few weeks are:
Keep a consistent routine with your child (eat breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth and help with chores around the house)
Name letters and sounds, especially those in child’s name
Write Name
Count to 15
Identify Shapes and Colors
Play Outside
Spend time doing something fun or creative
Limit screen time
Read with your child
