On December 1, 2022, from 6-7 PM via Zoom, Paw Paw Public Schools will hold its next Parent Chat program on the topic of Helping Students Read for Success: Strategies, Services, & Supports.
Of all the skills a student develops in school, reading is perhaps the one that will most influence their ability to succeed. That’s why the State of Michigan put a READ BY GRADE 3 law in place, and why so much emphasis is placed on reading. By the time a student reaches upper grades, reading is a key skill for success in all classes.
If you are interested in the topic of reading, or if your child is a reluctant, struggling, or resistant reader, we hope you’ll join us for this important Parent Chat. There will be info provided by PPPS staff people and special guests, and chance for participants to ask questions and share stories and strategies.
