January 14 Parent Chat to Focus on Supporting Non-Traditional Families

The next PPPS Parent Chat program will focus on Raising Healthy and Successful Students, with a special focus on homes where children are being raised by grandparents, other family members, foster families, or any other family that might be called "Non-Traditional".

The program will take place on Thursday, January 14 @ 7 PM via the Zoom online platform.

As always, the session will begin with a short, informative presentation on supporting students academically and behaviorally, with special focus on healthy growth and development. The session will also provide participants with opportunities to ask questions of their own, or to share experiences or strategies they find work in their own homes.

The session will be led by Paw Paw Public Schools Mental Health Clinician Stacey Coon-Ballard and Curriculum Director Corey Harbaugh, with presentations by PPHS Assistant Principal Tracy Derhammer and Cedar Street Community & Family Center Social Worker Kelly Touchtone.
