    How does a student pay for his/her meal?

    sendmoneytoschool.com. Parents are encouraged to put money into their child's account by sending a check made out to "Paw Paw Public Schools Food Service". Students can also purchase meals with cash.
     
     
     
    What happens if a student forgets his/her meal money?

    Elementary Schools (Grades K-5): As a courtesy, three (3) complete meals will be provided to your child. You will be asked to send payment the next school day to the cafeteria. If payment is not received, your child will get two (2) complete meals of Cheese sandwich, fruit and milk. You will be asked to send payment the next school day to the cafeteria. Your child's school administration is made aware of those charges too. The fifth (5th) day students will make a call home or to the parents work to make arrangements for a lunch or money to be brought in at that time.
     
    Secondary Schools (Grades 6-8): As a courtesy, two completes meal will be provided to your child. Your child will be asked to send payment the next school day to the cafeteria. Your child's school administration is made aware of those charges too.
     
    Secondary Schools (Grades 9-12): Charging is not available.
     
     
     
    Is milk the only beverage allowed with the meal?

    In accordance to the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) nutritional guidelines, milk is no longer a MANDATORY item for lunch in any grade, children have the choice to have it or not.
